Congratulations to Mu Nu, who has recently been awarded a $38,000 grant by Black Physicians and Healthcare Network (BPHN) to increase health literacy among Black residents of Montgomery County.

Goals & Objectives

Mu Nu chapter will improve health literacy in the Mongomery County Black Community through:

The brothers of Mu Nu chapter are professional men with consistent annual projects to benefit the whole spirit, mind and body of our members and local community.

Adopt-A-Road

Cleaning litter from our designated road monthly.

Collaboration with At-Risk Populations

Partnering with organizations in the Upper-Montgomery County area  to support the wellness of all ages and social-economic status.

Blood Donations

The Charles Drew Blood Drive is named for a member of Omega Psi Phi who was a noted physician, surgeon and researcher who worked in the field of blood transfusions and discovered blood plasma. The Charles Drew program is a mandated program of Omega Psi Phi and is held every June in conjunction with the American Red Cross.
