On November 30 and Dec 28 Mu Nu Chapter celebrated its 3rd year of continuosly feeding over 150 homeless citizens on the last Tuesday of the month in downtown Silver Spring Maryland at the Shepherds Table shelter site. Brother Jason Miller (2018-Mu Nu), the Social Action Chairman and an educator in the Montgomery County School system is committed to making a difference in individuals and families experiencing difficulties. Brother Miller relies upon the continuous service of brothers in Mu Nu Chapter including Brother Jerry Jones (1972-Nu Psi) and Brother Parnell Singleton (1974-Nu Psi) who have participated in every Mu Nu social action program for the past 3 years. Bro Jones even participated in the November session at Shepherds Table on his 70th birthday. Mu Nu Chapter assists Shepherd Table in providing sdaily meal, clothing and basic health services for homeless individuals and families. Mu Nu Chapter is a graduate chapter which serves the surrounding areas of Montgomery County Maryland.
