Mu Nu Takes the Talent Hunt Outdoors
On Sunday March 27th, 2022, The Brothers of Mu Nu Chapter held their annual Talent Hunt Program at Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland. The competition featured some of Montgomery County’s brightest young student stars on the rise who presented their skills by singing, dancing, solo instrumental presentation and visual arts presentation. This was the first outdoor Talent Hunt competition in the 51 years of the chapter’s existence. The decision to select an outdoor amphitheater as the venue for this year’s competition was made out of an abundance of caution for students and their families due to the existence of the Covid 19 pandemic and to ensure that the Mu Nu Chapter would be able to have a live Talent Hunt. Kelvin Dukes (Performing Arts) and Chase Neighbors (Visual Arts) will represent Mu Nu Chapter at the 74th District Conference. Other category winners included Gisele Sonnier (Dance Performance), Serafia Cecil (Violin- Instrumental Performance) and Consuela Watts (Vocal Performance)
