2nd District Virtual Youth Leadership: Assault on Illiteracy & the 12th Annual Game Changer Conference for Young Males
On Saturday February 26, 2022, Mu Nu Chapter presented the 12th Annual Game Changer Conference for Young Males, partnering with the 2nd District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated to host the one-day mentoring conference with over 300 students participating in a virtual program. The annual Game Changer Conference brings stakeholder groups together and highlights awareness to the challenges faced by young black and brown male students of color who are striving to be a success story despite social and political unrest. The conference was moderated by Mu Nu Vice-Basileus, Bro. Dr. Lorenzo Prillman (2013-Mu Nu) and attendees included Bro. Dr. Davide E. Marion (Grand Basileus), Bro. Ricky Lewis (1st Vice Grand Basileus), Bro. Kelvin K. Ampofo (37th 2nd District Representative), and Bro. Rico Gales (1st Vice 2nd District Representative).
This program founded by Bro. Donald William, Chairman, 2nd District Fatherhood Initiative and Mentoring Committee and Mu Nu former Basileus included conference workshops with the following topics: Motivational Speaker (Black-ish star Bro.
